Vivo Y53s smartphone that is available in Pakistan at a price of PKR40,000/- is not a value-for-money kind of device. You would think that paying this much money would get you a good enough gaming experience on a high end Amoled display with refresh rate so smooth that you will love browsing on it, but no!
The device features a Mediatek Helio G80 chipset that will only allow you smooth gaming on ‘Low’ to ‘Medium’ graphics in various high resolution games. Whereas the display is 6.58 inches long and has 1080 x 2408 pixels of resolution, but has no refresh rate. Though the video watching experience on this device is good, but browsing and gaming experience is below average.
The device comes with 128GB internal storage and 8GB RAM, which can be further extended to 3GB.
Cameras are good. Vivo Y53s comes with a 16mp selfie camera that clicks some good simple and portrait shots in good light conditions. While the rear side features a triple camera setup with 64mp main lens, 2mp micro lens and 2mp depth sensor. With 64mp lens you get above average pictures in daylight situations, and portrait shots have good edge-detection as well. However, the images are not so good in low-light conditions, even with the nigh-mode.
The highlight feature of the device is its battery. Y53s comes with a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging brick. The handset, even with heavy usage, can give you battery backup of one day.
Overall, the smartphone’s only major offering is its above average camera experience, which you can easily get in devices having a price tag lower than Vivo Y53s. I would recommended Redmi or Realme devices instead of this one, as they offer more features and will cost you less.
