The Arizona Cardinals’ injury report ahead of a Week 2 showdown with the Minnesota Vikings included starting right tackle Kelvin Beachum not practicing on Wednesday.
Beachum left the Cardinals’ win over the Tennessee Titans in the third quarter due to a rib injury and did not return. The Cardinals replaced Beachum with Justin Murray, who started most of the 2019 season at right tackle but was in competition to start at right guard.
Head coach Kliff Kingsbury said after practice on Wednesday that he wasn’t sure if Beachum would be playing on Sunday. Kingsbury earlier in the week described Beachum’s status as day-to-day.
On the Vikings’ end, linebacker Anthony Barr didn’t practice due to a knee injury that also kept him out in Week 1. Head coach Mike Zimmer said Wednesday he didn’t know if Barr would play against Arizona.
